Community pimpery.
So, like many of you reading this journal, one of the women on my flist is a comics geek. She has created a new comm: women_n_comics is designed for both squee and outrage, as well as anything in between.

sirriamnis is, as you may have noted from the fact that I've friended her, one of the people I really like on lj. I respect her opinions *and* I like her. Currently there are only three members, but hopefully that number will jump in the near future. The comm, after all, was only created today.

There are several comms on lj devoted to female fans and women in comics. Most of them are dead. I'd rather this one live.
