Has been for about two months. ) I'm getting a Facebook for the sole purpose of joining Justice for Aaron Hall. I'm also going to e-mail my local paper to find out why exactly a brutal, horrific, prolonged murder isn't important enough to have a mention. I'm also going to e-mail my politicians to -- again -- request that crimes against LGBT people because of their orientation be considered hate crimes. I urge you to do the same. |

| 4:49 pm | BLITEOTW There are three cemeteries within twenty-five minutes of my house. I never expected that fact to be as important as it is now. Relatively speaking, we're lucky. Compared to the neighbors, I mean. I never liked them, but nobody should die like that. Between me and my sister, we have an arsenal of bladed weapons. Problem with knives and swords is you have to get *close*. I brought the dog upstairs. I doubt shedding all over the carpet will be a problem, under the circumstances. We've got food and we've got water. My cell phone isn't getting a signal. My parents... I don't know. Mom's work isn't set up to handle anything like this. I have to go strangle a zombie with a rosary. They're surprisingly effective. Blessed objects aren't *supposed* to work on zombies. |

| 2:45 pm | I have absolutely no intention of losing the friends I've made in fandom. Fandom makes me happy, fic makes me happy, and if this vigilante group manages to get LiveJournal to cave entirely due to legal or financial pressure, *fine*. Fandom won't end because of it, and neither will I. I will not friends-lock this journal. I will still post fic; I am in fact altering the plans I had had in order to post fic *today*. I will friends-lock some of the stuff in my memories, I am going back through what I've written to make sure I have backups of everything I want to keep, and I have altered my interests, but I *refuse* to lose what makes me happy. (Speaking of, am I the only one who kind of desperately wants to write Oracle hacking this Warriors for Innocence site? Because I think that's a wonderful mental image.) ETA: Look at this. |
